Steel
Fabrication

Ace Laser Works is a supplier of fabricated steel components and welded assemblies. Our primary focus is on parts that originate from thin to medium gauge steel plate (1mm - 16mm). When sourcing thin to medium plate component parts and assemblies, many original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) outsource parts to streamline their in-house production and produce locally at or below targeted costs.
Industries We Serve
Below are some of the industries we service with steel fabrication:
- Electrical Switchgear & equipment
- Power generation & transmission
- Special purpose machinery
- Textile and Packaging
- Safes, Storage and Security
- Mining, Oil and Gas
- Agriculture,Construction & Material Handling
- Railways, Defence & Aviation
- Pharmaceutical and Medical

Capabilities
Capabilities for steel components and assemblies
As an extension of our customers’ operations, ALW is a vertically integrated contract steel fabricator that provides second and third step processing capabilities. We produce steel weldments and sub-assemblies weighing up to 500 lbs. for major manufacturers throughout India and Abroad and provide value from the design stage forward.
Quality is woven into our fabric through the processes we utilise. Our manufacturing facility at Vadodara occupy over 10,000 square feet and is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Just as vital to our customers is the commitment engrained in our organisation to – say what you do and do what you say.
Our facility is with mirrored capabilities and systems to provide our customers with the flexibility, scalability, speed, and technical expertise required to quickly introduce new products into the market. With many years of sheet metal fabrication experience, we have the experience to provide solutions to our customers' most difficult challenges. We become an extension of our customers' teams from prototype to production, mechanical assembly, integration, and testing to mitigate any potential design issues and costs.
How it Works
There are two main sheet metal manufacturing processes: soft tooling and hard tooling.
Soft Tool Sheet Metal Fabrication
Soft tooling involves the use of lasers, turrets, and press brakes to cut, bend, and form sheet metal.
Ace Laser Works offers one of the innovative soft tool metal fabrication capacities in India.
We are constantly seeking ways to improve our operations through understanding our customers' needs, training our staff, and increased automation where it makes sense.
Benefits of Soft Tooling
Time-bound
to marketMinimal to zero tooling investment
Quick and cost-effective design change
Flexibility in design changes before mass production
When to choose Soft Tooling
Soft tooling is best for programs that require flexibility. With little to no tooling investment, you have the ability to make changes to your program as needed with minimal down time. Soft tooling is the economical choice for programs that will evolve over time.
In Pipeline
Sheet Metal Stamping / Hard Tooling
Hard Tooling, or metal stamping, feeds coiled sheet metal into a stamping press where the steel die forms the metal in one or more stages.
Sheet metal stamping is accomplished using steel dies - progressive and stage - that are designed to stamp, bend, and form sheet metal. Parts are produced quickly and require little labor, which can be highly beneficial as a product becomes a staple in the market and demand increases.
Due to the part consistency that comes with metal stamping, this process is efficient and simple to automate.
Ace Laser Works has plans to invest in equipment for metal stamping to serve its customers. Paired with Ace Laser Works's CNC technology and vast experience, parts will come off the machine with high quality and incredible accuracy.

When to choose Hard Tooling
Metal stamping is a great option for high-volume sheet metal parts. There is an up-front capital investment to develop tools, but metal stamping will be more cost-effective over time. For the right application, ROI can be realised in as little as two months.
